Lead resident care initiatives as a Program Supervisor at a long-term care facility. Assist the Director of Resident Care and ensure high-quality, coordinated services for residents.
The Program Supervisor, Resident Care plays a vital role, supporting the Director of Resident Care. This position requires oversight of OTN/virtual health coordination, quality improvement programs, and adherence to facility policies. You will also support unregulated healthcare provider evaluations and address family concerns, enhancing resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee nursing service quality improvement initiatives • Facilitate staff training and day-to-day activities • Monitor compliance with health policies and legislation • Support the Director of Resident Care in evaluating services • Develop educational opportunities in collaboration with community partners
Requirements: • Diploma or degree in Nursing with licensing in Ontario • Minimum 2 years in a related supervisory role • Robust leadership and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities • Current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
