Position OverviewTo support project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA is seeking a candidate in mechanical engineering to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. The team works closely with BBA offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, contributing to regional development and delivering projects in the mining, metals and energy sectors.By joining this small, cooperative team focused on proximity, you’ll benefit from BBA's network of recognized experts, who’ll support you in your mandates and professional growth. You’ll also have the opportunity to be actively involved on project and client work sites.Position type: RegularResponsibilitiesPrepare technical documents for mandates related to heavy mechanics, conveyors, pumping systems, grinding mills and metallurgical processes, as well as engineering for mechanical servicesPerform detailed calculations under the supervision of experienced engineersPerform onsite technical information surveysPrepare material lists and bills of lading in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established procedures and within BBA’s quality system requirementsAssist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasksOccasionally coordinate the work of drafters or others,
