As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership, assess complex medical needs, develop care plans, and guide a team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.

About the Role

This leadership position supports residents’ health and wellness while mentoring care teams and ensuring clinical excellence in our vibrant seven‑story long‑term care community.

Responsibilities

- Provide leadership in clinical care planning, complex assessments, and decision‑making
- Oversee medication administration, treatments, and interventions for residents with unstable conditions
- Mentor and guide care aides and LPNs to deliver consistent, high‑quality care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized,



person‑centred care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation using clinical systems and electronic medical records
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Uphold health and safety protocols, promoting a safe and supportive environment
- Model Baptist Housing’s ministry values and demonstrate servant leadership in all interactions

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Current registration in valuable standing with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current First Aid Certificate and Food Safe Certification
- Experience in long‑term care preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate of $41.42 – $55.91.
