We're looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our clients growing team in GTA, ON region .

Pay - $100k-$120k/year + Other benefits

Shift - Days

Key Responsibilities

- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch).
- Develop and integrate motion control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems.
- Create, review, and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Implement, test, and maintain electrical safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated equipment.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for control systems.




- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch).
- Strong knowledge of motion control systems, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and panel layouts.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Robust communication and teamwork abilities.
