Job OverviewReynolds & Reynolds is looking for experienced automotive professionals to join our consulting team. As an Automotive Business Consultant your primary focus will be to establish professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more productive, effective, and profitable. You will work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas, use established consulting services programs, and then use industry knowledge to solve these issues. Once a project is complete, you will follow-up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing fee‑for‑service support and problem resolution. By helping these customers become successful across the country you will build trust that further drives consulting services sales.Working ConditionsDriving to and from customer sites (sitting on average 1-4 hour) or flying to customer sites in Canada.Customer visits require frequent standing up to 8 hours a day, with a 1 hour lunch break.Packing, lifting, and carrying personal luggage up to 50 lbs (15 minutes to 1 hour a day).Simple grasping and fine manipulation (both hands) 3-6 hours a day (pointer/mouse).Require looking at a computer screen up to 8 hours a day.Compensation & TrainingDuring training you will receive a base salary of $68,000–70,000. You will be eligible for quarterly bonuses after the 6‑9 month training period.



Total targeted income after training (base + bonuses) is $90,000+.The training consists of 90 days with experienced consulting and sales representatives in the field, online courses completed in your home office, and classroom instruction at our offices in Dayton, OH and Houston, TX.Requirements3+ years of automotive dealership management experience (sales manager, internet sales manager, business development manager).High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred but not required.Must be willing to travel extensively overnight (up to 5 nights per week).Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last 5 years.Must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.Able to travel to the United States for company‑paid training when deemed appropriate.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Pension plan (100% company match up to 6%).Working remotely with a laptop and other provided home office equipment.Professional development and training.Promotion from within.Paid vacation and sick days.Referral bonuses.LegalReynolds & Reynolds promotes a healthy lifestyle by providing a non‑smoking environment.
