In turn, we offer an award‑winning environment that fosters a people‑first culture with a high priority on personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityOur Calgary office is looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:Review assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and firm policies are followedEffectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and non‑assurance engagementsPrepare financial statements, conduct due diligence, and provide services related to capital raising and tax for assurance and non‑assurance clientsDevelop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basisAddress client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using strong technical and accounting skillsApply industry and business knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s businessDefining SuccessDemonstrate BDO’s core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect & CollaborationUnderstand client industry challenges and opportunities; be described as positive, professional, and delivering high‑quality workIdentify, recommend, and focus on effective service delivery to clientsShare in an inclusive & engaging work environment that develops,
