This includes maintaining medium‑to‑high‑voltage substation power delivery equipment such as breakers, switchgears, circuit breakers, relays and transformers. The Senior Commissioning Technologist also involves mentoring and educating junior technologists, reading and interpreting prints, risk management strategies and promoting industry best practices. The Senior Commissioning Technologist plays a leading role in setting up and operating both standard and specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze the performance of power delivery equipment on‑site.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain a robust safety culture alongside all members of the construction crewCommission and test high voltage equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, manual and motor operated switches, current transformers, voltage transformers, capacitor banks and circuit switchersCommission protection and control relays (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB)Commission control circuits for protection, indication and monitoring systemsPerform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical equipment ranging from 600 V to 500 kVInstallation, commissioning and maintenance of protection and control equipment,
