Responsibilities include ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census; supervising nursing staff; coordinating all hospital and bed utilization activities in the absence of hospital administration. The role works collaboratively and consultatively with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners and service providers to apply strategic and analytical thinking to address challenges, with the ultimate goal of high quality, safe and cost‑effective services to better support the patient experience and outcomes.About YouRegistered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of NursingMinimum of three (3) years medical/surgical experience or equivalent in an acute care settingMinimum of two (2)
