As the Labour Relations Specialist, you will be a trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners, supporting fair, consistent, and compassionate labour practices in a complex, unionized environment.You will work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals and people leaders who are deeply committed to delivering care and making a difference. and legislative requirements.Lead grievance resolution, from early intervention through mediation, arbitration, and data-driven trend analysis.Ensure organizational compliance by monitoring legislation, updating policies, and preparing reports.Support collective bargaining preparation, mandate development, and agreement implementation.Build trusted relationships with union partners, leaders, and employees to promote collaboration and positive workplace culture.Qualifications3 to 5 years of progressive labour relations experience in a unionized environmentBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s in Industrial Relations preferredStrong knowledge of Ontario employment and labour legislationProven negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to influence, build trust, and engage stakeholders at all levelsWhy Partner with AltisIf you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
