Teach Indigenous Studies part-time at Suncrest College in Yorkton. This contractual role aims to deliver impactful education on Indigenous culture and diversity beginning immediately.This position runs until April 30, 2027, with a total of 120 hours of teaching. The courses include INDG 100 and CLTR 200, focusing on essential concepts in Indigenous Studies. Classes will be scheduled on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, allowing for versatile arrangements that benefit both students and the instructor.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging lessons on Indigenous topicsCreate course outlines and materialsEncourage cross-cultural dialogue among studentsMonitor student progress and adapt teaching methodsCoordinate with administrative staff on schedulesRequirements:Bachelor's degree with a major in Indigenous Studies1-2 years of relevant teaching or practical work experienceCompliance with Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualificationsObtain necessary teaching approvalsExperience in diverse cultural environmentsContribute to educating students in Indigenous Studies with Suncrest College in Yorkton.
