What does the LOB do?:

The Client Data and Process Automation team supports Capital Markets by providing client and business data, reporting, analytics, and process automation solutions. The team fulfills data requests, develops reports and extracts, manages business intelligence initiatives, and supports operational efficiency through process automation and data-driven solutions

What project will this contractor be working on?

The contractor will support both business-as-usual operations and project initiatives within Capital Markets. Responsibilities include data extraction, reporting, dashboard development, client data management, process automation, testing database and API connections, and supporting various data-related projects.

Duration: 12 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Monday/Wednesday

Office Location: Toronto, ON

Compensation: T4: $30-$33 | IC: $35-$40- PER HOUR

Job Description:

As an Associate, Client Data & Process Automation, you will be responsible for executing data management and data analysis activities in support of Client Data Strategy and Regulatory initiatives. The objective is to ensure data produced by Capital Markets business and support groups is accurate, complete and reusable to fulfill all downstream reporting purposes, including but not limit to regulatory trade reporting obligations. The incumbent will help support all business intelligence and data analytics to support BAU and senior management decisions on its operations and data management capabilities. Process automation support to transform existing process will be executed through this team.

Must Have Requirement:

- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx for data extraction, manipulation, and workflow development.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks




- Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, WebFOCUS, etc.).
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, joins, and data analysis.
- Experience supporting data reporting, dashboard creation, and analytics initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to gather information from multiple data sources and develop solutions.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and managing internal client relationships.
- Ability to operate in a business-facing environment rather than a pure development or technology team

Nice to Have:

- Exposure to Power Automate and process automation initiatives.
- Python scripting experience for reporting, analytics, or Power BI enhancements.
- Experience with data integration, API connections, and database connectivity testing.
- Capital Markets or Financial Services industry experience.
- Knowledge of client data management, regulatory reporting, AML/KYC, or trade data environments.
- Experience supporting business transformation or process improvement initiatives
