We want you to succeed and continue building your future here at CRH Canada.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides primary care and assessments for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.Implements care plans with follow-up nursing care and referrals.Provides case management of short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims.Facilitates early and safe return to work and maintains effective incident injury/illness reporting procedures.Facilitates appeals process with WSIB.Maintains and ensures compliance with all health & safety standards, education and required paperwork.Conducts periodic training, including but not limited to first aid, CPR, health & wellness, and other related areas.Interprets and promotes compliance with government legislation.Provides in office employee health nursing care,



immunizations, and health counselling.Participates in occupational health and safety maintenance.Ability to travel within Ontario for meetings and plant visits.RequirementsCurrent registration, in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario; BScN preferred.Strong knowledge and understanding of WSIB process.Knowledge and understanding of CNESST process.Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.3 to 5 years of occupational health experience preferred.Ability to handle work with sensitive issues and protect confidentiality of medical information.Ability to deal with mental health claims/situation.Sound judgement in the application of nursing and safety principles; knowledge of health andsafety procedures, as well as occupational wellness programs.Ability to do electronic charting and database entry using Parklane Systems.Computer skills and the ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Current COHN certificate preferred; 3 to 5 years of occupational health experience (Asset).Bilingual (French) an asset.Experience in a unionized environment an asset.Equal Employment OpportunityCRH Canada recognizes Canada’s diverse landscape.
