Role Description The Senior Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ottawa, ON. The Senior Officer will support the Egmont Group’s operational and strategic activities, including planning and coordinating projects that enhance information sharing and cooperation among FIUs. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting reports, briefing notes, and policy documents; preparing materials formeetings and working groups; and managing timelines and deliverables.



The Senior Officer will liaise with member FIUs and partner organizations, organize events and workshops, and help track progress on key initiatives. The role also involves monitoring relevant global developments in financial crime, contributing to internal process improvements, and providing analytical and administrative support to senior leadership. Main Accountabilities: Provide strategic, planning, and research services in support of the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units’ mandate of improving the effective exchange of information to combat money laundering, associated predicate offenses, and terrorist financing and the global development of effective FIUs.
