York Jewellers is looking for a friendly, dependable and trustworthy person to join our team! We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers and understands the care and responsibility that comes with handling fine jewellery, high-value merchandise and customers sentimental pieces. What we’re looking for:

Friendly, professional and confident with customers Honest, reliable and detail-oriented Able to work well in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling delicate and high-value merchandise Able to take accurate,



detailed descriptions of customer jewellery Robust communication and organisational skills Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Able to multitask and work both independently and as part of a small team Professional appearance appropriate for a fine-jewellery environment Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods Willing to learn about jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, repairs and our products Available to work Saturdays during November and December, as well as Christmas Eve Successful candidate must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check Jewellery experience is NOT required – training will be provided! We’re much more interested in finding the right person who is eager to learn and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
