This position requires the ability to safely lift and carry laundry, groceries, household items, and other materials as part of daily responsibilities.The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and driving throughout the workday, with regular movement between tasks and client support activities. Candidates must be comfortable climbing stairs, performing general housekeeping duties, making beds, accessing storage areas, and completing seasonal outdoor tasks such as yard maintenance and snow removal.The position also requires the ability to push, pull, bend, crouch, and perform other physical movements necessary to maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment. Successful candidates will possess the physical stamina, mobility,



and flexibility to safely perform the essential duties of the position while meeting the daily needs of the youth they support.QualificationsEducation:Secondary education from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Community Colleges or University Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or minimum 1 year of practical experience working with individuals impacted by socio‐economic issues including homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfarePractical Experience:Working knowledge and experience with individuals impacted by socio‐economic issues, including: homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfare system.Working with a range of diverse clients, indiscriminate of: age, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, socio‐economic status, religious preference, etc.Other:First Aid/CPR, ASIST, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, Food Safe would be considered an asset.Valid / Insurable Saskatchewan Driver's License, insurable to drive clients in JHSS-owned vehicles.Cleared Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check, completed three (3) months prior to start date.Capability:Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Requires flexibility and should be able to work varying shiftsAdditional InformationThe above statements reflect general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be construed as the detailed description of all work assignments that may be inherent to the position.Your past doesn't need to define your future.
