This role involves active participation in the teaching and evaluation of undergraduate nursing courses. You'll supervise students in direct patient care and ensure they meet established competency standards. Your guidance will enhance their critical judgment and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate teaching in clinical practice skills labs
• Oversee student groups during clinical placements
• Evaluate students’ skills and recommend new learning
• Monitor adherence to accepted practice standards
• Assist with grading and theoretical coursework
Requirements:
• BCCNM licensed Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred Master’s Degree in Nursing
• At least two years of clinical experience
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Strong skills in adult and critical care nursing
