Leuschen Transportation is currently hiring licensed 310T Mechanics to join our team in Timmins. Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Mechanic is responsible for the day-to-day preventative and post incident repairs of a large fleet of commercial vehicles. This fast paced, but diligent role will diagnose and carry out all repairs for mechanical issues and problems discovered in various commercial School Buses and civilian class vehicles. The incumbent will maintain a strong sense of customer service while interacting with various stakeholders including, School Bus Drivers, Dispatchers, Managers, Peer Mechanics, Apprentices and Governmental Agencies.Shifts are Monday through Friday - 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.Wage: $47.50 per hourJob DutiesPerform Brake and Safety Inspections, carry out preventative maintenanceEnsure all vehicle inspections are completed in a timely fashion each monthPerform service calls and cold starts as requiredEnsure you have knowledge of our safety policies and adhere to themPerform additional vehicle repairs as neededAdhere to compliance-based regulations from a Company, Federal,
