Procurement, Supply, Quality Assurance, Obsolescence Management, and DisposalReceive and respond to technical feedback from users and maintainersAdvise the EMT on issues that may impact fleet availabilityProvide Integrated Logistics Support to the OWSS team with Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) changes, task development, technical data, waivers, and deviationsPerform periodic site visits to units, bases, supply depots, work centers, and GDLS locationsInterface with supply support organizations and help resolve supply management issuesInterface with other EMT groups for WLAV equipment not managed by the WLAV EMTLog, prioritize, analyze, and respond to problem reports (PRs)Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) for technical work performed by contractors or other agenciesEvaluate proposals, reports, and demonstrations by contractors or other agenciesEvaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Equipment Support List Change Notice (ESLCNs) for supportability impacts and technical feasibilityInterface with DND scaling and cataloguing organizationsMaintain all technical and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data held by the EMTMaintain access and update all technical information in DRMISCo‑ordinate updates to technical and ILS data performed by contractorsPerform vendor and Canadian Forces Base (CFB) site visits and investigate technical and CM/SE/ILS/LCMM issues with DND personnelProvide technical support to the Supply Management PlannersReview all supply demands to validate the requirement, prioritize issues, and monitor stock levels to identify candidates for new procurementProvide support in the analysis of the fleet supportability performanceProvide technical advice and support to CAF field units whether in domestic or foreign ops/exercisesManage serialized equipment and tooling in DRMISBuilds and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customersExercises a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficienciesBe able to be delegated under all Turret and Weapon Station Technical Agreements (TAs)Log and track loan of Government Property to GDLS-C, Third‑Party contractors, and other DND entitiesRequired QualificationsAbility to work in Ottawa, OntarioUniversity degree or College diploma and/or previous experience as a Military Electro‑Optical (EO) TechnicianMinimum 8 years related experience and/or SGT qualified with DP2Demonstrated written and oral communication skillsDetailed knowledge of DND maintenance and supply processesDetailed product knowledge of WLAV automotive and/or turret systemsMust be able to acquire and maintain Level II security clearanceKnowledge of the theories, principles, policies, and procedures of the Canadian Federal Government and how they relate to life cycle management, inventory control, procurement and repair and overhaulDemonstrated ability to respond to customer requirements and manage expectations while ensuring satisfactionCustomer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problemsSuperior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi‑task under pressureStrong English oral and written communication skillsSelf‑motivated and effective working in a team‑oriented environmentProficient in MS Office applications, with a focus on advanced Excel skills including Macros, Formulae, and Pivot TablesMust be able to meet Anthropometrical Size RestrictionsAbility to travel (10% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passportPreferred QualificationsBilingual (French/English)Previous Life Cycle Material Manager or Project Management experience in an EO related tradeDetailed knowledge on use and application of DND departmental software such as CFSS, DRMIS (SAP), and CGCSExtensive experience in DND equipment maintenanceLAV 6.0 Family of Vehicles Product knowledgeGEN II (Bison/Coyote) Vehicle Product KnowledgeGDLS 25mm Turret operator and/or maintainer experienceArmoured Vehicle Range Safety Officer (RSO) qualification for both Simple and Complex RangesExperience with ISTAR systems operation and maintenanceSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada by 2x.#J-18808-Ljbffr
