As the only accountant at the Manitoba Arts Council, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. This role demands a CPA along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within non-profit or public sectors.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute full cycle accounting and ledger management • Prepare internal financial reports and variance analysis • Oversee cash flow and manage payments accurately • Facilitate the annual audit process and preparation • Maintain financial records of the Council's employees
Requirements: • Chartered Qualified Accountant (CPA) in good standing • Extensive experience with full-cycle accounting • Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills • Excellent communication for diverse stakeholders
