Household Manager / Family AssistantPart-Time Long-Term Calgary, ABWe are a busy young family looking for an exceptional Household Manager / Family Assistant to become a trusted, long-term part of our household.This is a hybrid role combining housekeeping, household organization and occasional childcare. We aren't looking for someone who simply comes in, completes a cleaning checklist and leaves. We're looking for someone proactive, organized and dependable who takes pride in helping a household run beautifully.Both parents work from home, and we have a sweet one-year-old daughter, as well as two super friendly kitties.The majority of the role will initially focus on keeping the home clean, organized and running smoothly, with occasional help entertaining or caring for our daughter while we're working nearby.What the role may include:General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, tidy homeLaundry, folding and putting clothing awayKitchen and common-area cleanupOrganizing cupboards, closets, toys and household spacesKeeping track of household items that need to be restockedLight meal or food preparationOccasional errandsHelping maintain household calendars, reminders and to-do listsNoticing and communicating things that need attention, repair or replacementHelping prepare the home for guests,



holidays or eventsOccasionally playing with or caring for our daughter for short periods while we're workingGenerally helping take things off our plate before we have to askThe biggest thing we're looking for is initiative.If you notice the laundry needs switching over, you switch it. If we're running low on something, you add it to the list. If a cupboard has become chaos, you organize it. We would want to build the relationship gradually before leaving our daughter independently in someone's care.ScheduleApproximately 2-4 days per week to start, with some flexibility depending on the right person's availability and our family's needs.There is potential for the position to grow over time.
