Federal Express Corporation Canada is seeking an experienced FP&A; Advisor to join its finance team in Mississauga, Ontario. This senior-level role provides technical direction, project leadership, and coordination among financial work groups for analysis of diverse business proposals, development of business plans and strategic plans, and ongoing financial advisory to senior management.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical direction and project leadership for analysis of diverse business proposals and strategic plans
- Demonstrate creativity and initiative in analyzing business issues and proposing solutions
- Effectively represent the interests and perspective of Finance management without prompting or coaching
- Successfully influence the direction of management
- Navigate open-ended assignments (greenspace analytics) comfortably
- Consistently meet deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Anticipate and address business situations proactively and pursue them to resolution
- Maintain a robust positive influence on work group morale and contribute to team solutions
- Proactively anticipate questions and adapt messaging to the audience
- Present effectively to diverse audiences and use diplomacy in working through issues
- Demonstrate attention to quality and initiate quality improvement processes
- Lead major projects by successfully coordinating within and across departments




- Keep all parties and Finance Leadership proactively informed
- Train and mentor fellow staff members
- Actively provide and seek out leadership roles
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree in a related field may offset experience requirements.
- Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Proficiency in a PC/Windows environment
- Bilingualism (French and English) required for candidates residing in Quebec
