This role will be based at our Calgary, AB facility.You might be a good fit if you:Have a passion for leading industry-changing solutions with significant social, economic, and environmental impactDesire to play a founding role and reap the benefits as part of a growth-stage startup with significant upsideEnjoy building not only the technology but also high-performing teams and companiesAre committed to continuous learning at the intersection of several industriesWhat you'll do:Lead the design ofcutting-edgesolutionsusing a first-principles approachGather design constraints and produce complex 3D models based on a knowledge of pneumatics, motion (motor control & drives), materials, and manufacturing processesPrepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and release bills of materials; own all aspects of the product design phaseDesign systems for compliance to applicable standards (i.E., CSA, ISO,



ANSI, OSHA, customer specific)Establish robust supply chains and manage low-cost manufacturing partnershipsConfer with colleagues, suppliers, contractors, customers, and relevant authorities to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and createappropriate technicaldocumentation, including machine manualsSet goals, develop, andmaintainequipment build schedules for project launchesResearch and evaluate mechanical products for application feasibility by applying knowledge of engineering principles for our continual product developmentSupport equipment installations, operation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure that machinery is installed and functioning according to intended specificationsLead andparticipatein mechanical design reviewsOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need to succeed:Bachelor or Master'sdegree inengineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics); P.Eng. designationrequired5+ years of robotic systems integration experiencein a custom automation environmentPractical hands-on mechanical aptitude and a sincere passion for engineering, robotics,
