Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure BOMs and routings are complete for productsAudit BOMs to actual floor performanceProduce variance analysis of products on an ad hoc basisCollaborate with team in the preparation of complex financial reportsIntegral part of month/quarter/year end close activities and financial statements with detailed analysisProvide support to department leaders through financial and operational analysis throughout the year and applicable budget and forecasting cyclesLiaise with other department personnelAssist with internal and external financial auditsCreate journal entries, reconcile sub‑ledgers for assigned accountsOther duties as requiredQualificationsImmediate open position$80,000 - $90,000 annual compensationAccounting or Finance post‑secondary education requiredMinimum 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience in a fast paced automotive workplace an assetExtensive background in cost accounting and meeting deadlinesAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP)Analytical skills backed by high proficiency dealing with dataAbility to tackle loosely defined problems by asking the right questionsStrong organizational skills,
