is being followed with the emphasis on abnormality responseEnsure the secure and efficient handling and storage of log inventoryManage the log quality programEnsure effective scaling practices and weigh scale practices are maintainedEnsure an adequate log diet is provided to the mill on an ongoing basisEnsure log yard and waste yards are maintained as per the Environment Management SystemResponsible for mobile equipment parts inventory and departmental cost controlsSupervise log yard and mobile shop employeesEnsure compliance with Ministry of Environment and Worksafe BC regulationsOversee site and environmental compliance programQualifications & ExperienceProven leadership skills, with several years of supervisory experience in a unionized environmentDemonstrated supervisory and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 5 years forest industry experienceGood knowledge of computer applications (e.G., Microsoft Office)Mobile equipment knowledge is an assetBenefits & SalaryThe salary range for this position is: $79,450.00-$113,500.00. The range provided is for base salary only.
