This mission critical role includes regular interaction with our brokers, clients and the business and developing the strategy for A&H; claims.Monitoring and providing instructions, coaching/mentoring, and training to AnalystsApproving reserves and settlements above the Analysts authorityReviewing and approving coverage and/or denial of coverage lettersReviewing,



approving and monitoring Large LossesPerforming monthly open file reviews to ensure compliance with Operational / Best Practices guidelinesEnsuring Analysts provide exceptional customer service, including regular interaction with our customers, brokers and vendor partners.Maintaining valuable rapport and close working relationships with underwriters, brokers and insuredsPromote a culture of integrity and risk management within the team and ensuring the team is performing against key performance indicators and living AIG’s purpose and valuesManaging and supporting the administrative team and ensuring high quality reporting, metrics and service standardsWhat You’ll Need To SucceedFluency in both English and French (verbal and written) is essential, as a significant portion of underwriting handled by the employee will occur outside of QuebecExperience handling injury claims, such as Accident & Health, or Commercial Auto Injury (PIP) claims, including large loss and litigation mattersStrong leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to make decisions and give directions to Analysts and support teamExcellent organizational, communication,



and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a fast paced team environmentCollege/university degree or equivalent industry experienceProficient computer skills to navigate in paperless claim file system and PC applications, including Windows, MS Word and Excel.Benefits & CompensationPrêt à avoir un impact plus important ?
