AECOM is hiring a Senior Heavy Mechanical Engineer to take charge of heavy mechanical systems in hydropower and dam projects. With a focus on design compliance and technical deliverables, your expertise will ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design criteria for mechanical systems in projects • Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection • Prepare and review technical deliverables for accuracy • Conduct site investigations to inform design solutions • Mentor junior engineers and support their development
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 6 years in heavy mechanical design for hydropower • Independent work and complex assignment management • Strong verbal and written French communication skills • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
