IT Technical Advisor Specialist - Windows (Intune, SCCM)OverviewOur Security Remediation team is growing and looking for an IT Technical Advisor Specialist - Windows to join a highly competent team. The role focuses on ensuring a solid security posture of endpoints and virtual environments, proactively reducing risks, and supporting cybersecurity governance at Intact Financial Corporation. You will work with specialized colleagues to shape the future of the company with attention to detail, structure, and an innovative mindset, and you may provide support and guidance to other IT teams.The ideal candidate will have expertise in SCCM product management and administration, experience in application packaging and deployment, and in endpoint hardening, troubleshooting, and improving security posture.What You'll Do HereAssess workstations for compliance and safety. Plan, design and implement workstation-related projects.Security: Ensure the security of the SCCM infrastructure. Deploy and maintain security standards on workstations according to industry best practices or corporate security standards.Configuration & Deployment: Package and deploy applications; configure and deploy compliant policies to workstations. Process automation.Optimization & Evolution: Optimize deployments and compliance performance, improve end-user experience and automate processes.Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance, participate in solving complex issues on Windows environments.Training and mentoring: Train and mentor junior IT team members on best practices and technologies.Collaboration: Work closely with development, network and security teams to ensure integration and harmonization of workstations within the IT ecosystem.Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of the Windows environment and workstation configurations (SOP, Baseline & Processes).What You Bring To The TableMinimum 8 years of experience in a similar specialist or systems administrator role.Proficiency in SCCM/Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft Store, AutoPilot, co-managed environments, etc.Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems.Knowledge of scripting (e.G., PowerShell, etc.).Mac knowledge is an asset.Relevant Microsoft certification highly desirable.Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems effectively and efficiently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments.Can identify issues and recognize deviations from accepted practices and processes.Experience working in large and complex IT environments.Comfortable in a dynamic team structure with fluid governance.Enthusiastic towards new technologies; able to solve problems and think outside the box.Excellent communication skills.For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required due to regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues across the country.No Canadian work experience required; however, candidate mustbe eligible to work in Canada.What We OfferOur hybrid work model provides a balance between working from home and meaningful in-person interactions.A financial rewards program that recognizes your success.An industry-leading Employee Share Purchase Plan with 50% match of net shares purchased.An extensive flex pension and benefits package, including virtual healthcare.Flexible work arrangements.Possibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year.An annual wellness
