OverviewAt KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Governance & Operations, this role supports the Board of Directors and its Committees by enabling effective governance processes, and ensuring seamless coordination of all Board activities.This position will require occasional in-person attendance in our Toronto office. #Li-HybridWhat you will doSupport the Board of Directors and Committees by coordinating annual and ad-hoc governance processes, including meeting scheduling, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.Attend all Board and Committee meetings, ensuring quorum verification, notice compliance, accurate recording of minutes, and timely distribution of materials.Maintain governance and partnership records, including minutes, resolutions, terms of reference, and applicable filings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Serve as a strategic liaison between the Board, senior leadership, and key internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment with firm priorities.Support Board member onboarding, continuous education, competency tracking, and annual evaluations.Safeguard highly sensitive and confidential information to protect legal, operational, and reputational integrity.Implement and manage technology solutions to improve Board processes, workflows, and document management.What you bring to the rolePost‑secondary education in law, business, governance, or a related field.Experience in a similar governance-focused role, within a complex organization.Knowledge of governance best practices, board processes, and regulatory or compliance standards.Ability to manage governance processes end-to-end, including meeting planning,



agenda development, accurate minute‑taking, action tracking, and maintaining governance documentation.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft 365 suite, leveraging technology to enhance board operations, productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective meeting management.Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive information and competing priorities with discretion.Exceptional written communication skills, including minute‑taking and preparing governance documentation.KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $133,200 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
