The ER Veterinarian will report to the Emergency Co‑Managers and collaborate with colleagues: Emergency Veterinarians, Critical Care Specialists and Lead Emergency RVT. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic,



and an internal desire to advance their career by working in an environment that offers a varied and unique caseload, advanced diagnostics, and exposure to experienced colleagues.Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform all technical responsibilities of a Registered Veterinarian.Comprehensive patient work‑up:Obtain history, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostics, and make treatment recommendations.Perform SOAPs and document all communication.Complete medical records and correspondence by the end of each day.Communicate with owners regarding their pet’s concerns and respond to client calls/emails in a timely manner.Prepare discharge notes and schedule discharge appointments.Follow procedures to ensure medical files are transmitted to the primary care Veterinarian.Understand the fundamentals of emergency procedures (CPR, intubation, FAST scan, etc.) and work with the team to become proficient in these procedures.Provide accurate estimate invoices and clearly communicate financial information with owners.Follow hospital guidelines for client
