Lead career development initiatives with the Gwich’in Tribe in Inuvik. As a full time Career Development Coordinator, you will promote job opportunities and provide counseling to Participants.

This permanent position works under the Education & Training department and involves collaborating with Employment Officers to deliver tailored career programs. You will integrate Gwich’in values throughout all activities while ensuring compliance with GTC policies and adapting to labor market needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Administer career programs following Gwich’in values • Ensure program compliance with GTC policies • Lead and guide education and training program design • Build partnerships with local organizations and employers • Maintain accurate client databases securely

Requirements: • College Diploma in Career Development or related field • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License • Knowledge of local labor market and Gwich’in values
