This is a meaningful opportunity to shape a culture of safety within a dynamic, people-first organization that genuinely invests in its team.About the RoleReporting to the Human Resources Director, the Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for coordinating health and safety processes and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations across Canada. This individual will help develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive safety program across our client's clinic locations and head office. If you're passionate about creating safer workplaces and ready to grow within a supportive, collaborative team, we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingCoordinate health and safety training, including certifications and new hire orientationsDevelop and update toolbox meetings, MEMOs, PowerPoint training courses, bulletins, SWPs, HAAs, and policiesProvide monthly reports to the HR Director and operations teamLead the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) for clinic operations and head officeDevelop and maintain safe evacuation procedures for all clinics and head officeLead all WCB, WSIB, and WorkSafe BC claims,



mitigating lost time whenever possibleAddress non-compliance and hazards with corrective actionsConduct facility inspections, complete safety inspection reports, and follow up on corrective action itemsEnsure safety binders are current, including SDS, SWP, HAA, training records, and the Safety ManualTravel to clinic locations as requiredWhat You BringResiding in Calgary, AlbertaPost-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent industry experienceCanadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) designation preferred3–5 years of prior experience working within the Occupational Health & Safety disciplineExperience in the healthcare or medical industry is an assetStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in creating and delivering training programsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsOur client takes care of their people.
