We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Automation Controls Designer to play a key role in the development of next-generation industrial machines and automation products. This is not a traditional controls role, this position sits within a product development environment, focused on designing scalable, standardized control systems that support commercialization and repeatable deployment across diverse customer applications.In this role, you will design, program, and implement advanced control systems while collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to bring new products to market. You will help shape the future of our automation platform by contributing to the development of configurable, high-performance solutions that balance technical excellence with real-world application.This position requires a robust technical foundation, a product-oriented mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems. You will also support product validation and customer deployments, including travel to client sites, ensuring solutions perform effectively in real-world environments.Reports to: General ManagerWhat You’ll DoDesign, develop, and program control systems for industrial machines and automation products (PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and more)Contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept and architecture to testing, validation, and market releaseBuild scalable, standardized, and modular control architectures that support repeatable product deploymentCollaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to deliver high-performing, integrated systemsDevelop and maintain technical documentation (functional specs, I/O lists,
