As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll see this first hand by being immersed in the evolving tax environment through preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing staff on your engagement teams.Your Key ResponsibilitiesSenior Managers in our U.S. Tax practice participate in and supervise multiple and challenging tax engagements as part of a team delivering high quality compliance services and innovative tax planning ideas for our clients.Core elements of the role includeBuilding long-lasting relationships with our clients, developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirementsServing as a key point of contact, reviewing client deliverables, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, managing engagement quality and economics, and developing internal team membersContinuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations Identifying risks related to domestic and international tax issuesDeveloping clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients' tax activitiesConstantly developing your own knowledge, maintaining your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practicesTo qualify for the role you must haveA bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting; or a graduate degree intax or law with over 9 years of related work experienceU.S. CPA designation, or an IRS enrolled agentExperience in leading U.S.
tax compliance engagements for corporations and partnerships for multinational clients and Private Equity FundsExperience with U.S. tax provisions for public and private companiesExtensive knowledge in a broad range of Corporate and Partnership taxation.
