Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in AML and regulatory projects? Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for anAML Business Analyst-LCTR/Banking. The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering and documentation for high-risk, strategic, and regulatory projects related to AML compliance and reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple work streams, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr– $86.96/hr Responsibilities Lead requirements work packages for large, high-risk, and strategic AML projects or programs Develop and oversee project delivery approaches and detailed work plans aligned with project milestones Estimate, forecast, and manage requirements effort including resources and timelines Coordinate requirements interdependencies across multiple work streams or projects Ensure requirements are complete, precise, compliant, and testable Engage stakeholders to achieve final agreement and obtain necessary sign-off of requirements and deliverables Assess and manage change requests, ensuring alignment with project objectives Identify, document, and validate current state processes and capabilities Support the business in defining needs and identifying potential solutions Analyze impacts of solutions on customers, stakeholders, processes, technology, and budgets Prioritize, categorize,
and document business requirements following industry standards Desired Skill-Set 8 to 10 years of Business Analysis experience within the financial services industry Proven experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering concepts such as KYC, CDD, LCTR, STR, and related regulations (FINTRAC) Experience with transaction monitoring and customer risk rating systems Well-versed in data analysis, data lineage, data quality, and source-to-target mappings Proficiency with SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Solid communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to articulate complex business needs clearly and concisely Proactive, motivated, with excellent time management skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and promote a positive team setting Nice to Have AML sanctions certifications Experience with AML sanctions frameworks and compliance standards BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
