We engineer food safety in everything we do.Job ResponsibilitiesHire, train and professionally develop project coordinators and project managerReview incoming new projects and distribute to Project Managers and Project Coordinator based on workload and experienceEnsure the success of projects by supporting project manager with review and monitoring of critical milestones. Monitor and control project performance,



identify bottlenecks and resolve issuesEnsure proper change management is followed throughout the project processMaintain quality of internal project management system by ensuring accuracy and suggest and implement improvementsEstablish project KPIs and provide KPI reporting to senior managementRepresent the Project Management department in project meetings with other departmentsEstablish policies and procedures for the Project Management department, train and implement effective reporting and process check mechanisms within the team to ensure consistency of executive of internal project management methodologiesManage key customer interface to ensure customer satisfactionExecute bi-annual performance interviews with project managers/coordinators and create development plans to grow the PMOs capabilityOther duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsBachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Materials EngineeringMaster's degree in engineering seen as an asset5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Sector and Food Processing/Beverage SectorStrong leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing project management teamsSolid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practicesProven experience in establishing and managing a PMO or similar project management functionsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate collaboration and resolve conflictsAnalytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions, solve complex problems, identify, and mitigate project risks and issuesFamiliarity with quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and relevant industry standardsPMP Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress is preferredP.
