Here at Focus Cloud, we are working with a Toronto-based organization embarking on a major finance transformation programme centred around the implementation of Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning. They are looking for a hands‐on Workday Adaptive & Finance Lead to act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing independent oversight of the implementation while partnering with Finance, Technology, and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines robust Finance process knowledge with deep Workday implementation experience and enjoys being a key voice in solution quality, testing, and programme governance.What You'll Be DoingAct as the business lead and SME for Workday Financials and Adaptive PlanningSupport finance transformation initiatives across budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, GL, and finance operationsWork closely with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to review solutions and delivery progressChampion a "test early,



test often" approach throughout the programme lifecycleReview defects, challenge assumptions, and help drive effective resolution of issuesProvide independent advice and recommendations to business stakeholdersSupport business readiness, adoption, and go-live activitiesWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience with Workday Adaptive PlanningBackground in FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, General Ledger, and finance operationsExperience working on large-scale finance transformation programmesStrong testing, QA, UAT, or test governance experienceAbility to challenge delivery partners and provide objective recommendationsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAdditional InformationHybrid role based in Toronto (2-3 days onsite)Initial engagement expected to run for approximately 20-24 monthsAdaptive Planning go-live targeted for March 2027Workday Financials go-live targeted for May 2028
