Join Siegwerk as an In-House Technician, where you support packaging sustainability through innovative ink solutions. Engage with customers and perform technical tasks on-site to ensure seamless operations.
At Siegwerk, you'll handle a variety of technical and administrative duties within customer plants. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills as you interact with customers during print trials and approvals. You'll monitor equipment, provide backup for on-leave technicians, and facilitate transitions from competitor inks to Siegwerk products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete multi-step tasks per guidelines and instructions • Monitor and adjust equipment for optimal performance • Provide backup support for Ink Technicians during leaves • Organize and conduct product trials at customer facilities • Train customers on technical ink processes and color matching
Requirements: • High School diploma or GED with 2-4 years of press-related experience • Knowledge of pre-press operations and ink technologies • Solid problem-solving and communication skills • Experience with computer operating systems • Ability to interpret data and carry out detailed instructions
