The specific accountabilities of the position are as follows:Conduct safety analysis using state-of-the-art nuclear safety analysis computer softwareDevelopment of current analytical methods and modelsThe preparation of technical documents in support of regulatory submissionsUnderstand and assess client problems and determine appropriate means of solutionManage projects and act as team lead where appropriateInterface effectively with other staff on multi-disciplinary projectsStay current with developments within your field of expertiseOther duties as assignedWhat You Need to SucceedRequires as a minimum, Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering and/or Engineering Physics. Completion of a Masters Degree or PhD would be preferred.Minimum of three to five years’ experience in the area of dispersion and dose assessments.Preference for candidates with working experience in dispersion and dose safety analysis industry toolsets (e.G., IMPACT, ADDAM, URI, MACCS).Possess a sound foundation in transport phenomena (heat, mass and momentum
