As a Senior Digital Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of all VMware and Azure Local infrastructure across Suncor's Private Cloud. Responsibilities also include Windows/RHEL servers, Azure, and AWS. You will manage server infrastructure, optimize performance, ensure security compliance, and provide technical support to various teams. You will lead initiatives for system upgrades, automation, and troubleshooting complex issues, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall IT operations.Minimum Requirements:Computer Science Degree or Technical Diploma10+ years IT operations and/or IT project execution experience, including comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of enterprise operationsExpert level knowledge of VMware with a strong track record in system administration, performance tuning, security management and scripting and codingGeneral knowledge of Azure Local (Stack), Windows/RHEL server operating systems and storage technologyHands-on experience in provisioning and configurationMinimum 3 years within Azure and/or AWS cloud platformsAutomation and Coding experience – Terraform, AnsibleExperience in public and private cloud environments, IT infrastructure operations (server/workload, storage/data protection, networks), for various cloud service modelsTechnical Certifications: Current VMware, cloud, or coding certifications or a firm commitment to obtain one.
