This is an in-office opportunity with the option to work in either office.What our client has to offer:Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000Up to 15% discretionary bonus based on profit sharingRRSPs matchHealth spending accountSignificant opportunity for upward progression within an early-stage growing organizationKey Responsibilities:Lead and support month-end and year-end close for the organizationManage working capital and develop strong financial processesAutomate systems and financial processes utilizing AI toolsReview financials with external auditorsAnalyze and explain variancesQualifications:CPA designation is required.Ideally looking for a manager level in public accounting, looking to move into industry OR someone who started their career in public accounting who has moved into industry and is now looking for a step-up to a Controller roleExperience in interfacing and automating books.Familiarity with AI tools and botsExperience with system conversions or level-setting accounting systemsEntrepreneurial mindset, adaptable, and able to wear many hats.To be eligible for this role, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.Please note that we use AI tools as part of our recruitment process to enhance efficiency and improve candidate experience.
