Committed to creating a safer, more efficient, effective, and sustainable future, BMT values diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognizing their pivotal role in achieving our business purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role provides HSEQ governance for the North American Region, ensuring efficient and effective health, safety, quality, and sustainability structures and processes to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, adapted for local requirements. The HSEQ Co‑ordinator also leads in the provision of facilities, information technology, and security, ensuring staff have the right tools in the proper environment to support engagement and client needs. The role supports the North America Vice President – Commercial Director and the Global HSEQ Director, acting as the subject matter expert on HSEQ issues, ensuring policy and legal compliance and operational excellence in a safe, sustainable environment.Manage a team including the Security Co‑ordinator, Facilities and IT Co‑ordinator, USA HSEQ Manager, and provide direction to local office facility coordinators.Champion safety in the Region by promoting a progressive safety culture supported by efficient and effective processes.Coordinate compliance with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015,
and 45001:2018 registrations and support efforts to register under 17025 and 27001.Ensure health, safety, and quality legal compliance and related horizon monitoring.Lead internal audit programs to validate adherence to established processes.Interface with external HSEQ auditors.Manage OFI, CAR, PAR, and NCR tracking actions.Maintain HSEQ documents in SharePoint, MYOSH, Navigator, and client portals; report and track KPIs.Provide training and awareness to staff on key elements of the HSEQ program.Facilitate JHSC engagement in the safety program.Ensure the comprehensive risk assessment program is followed to minimize HSEQ risks.Work cooperatively with the People Department to promote employee wellness.Interface with customers and supply chain regarding HSEQ matters.Collaborate with peers in other regions and the Group HSEQ Director to harmonize practices and exploit best practices.Manage the Facilities IT Co‑ordinator’s day‑to‑day engagement with the outsourced IT Managed Service Provider.Oversee the Security Co‑ordinator’s efforts to maintain a safety posture for facilities, IT, and personnel controls.Ensure organizational resiliency through business continuity and disaster recovery planning.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseFive years’ experience managing HSEQ (9001, 14001, 17025, 27001, and 45001) functions, including at least light industrial activities.Post‑secondary education in a related discipline.Demonstrated record of implementing or significantly improving HSEQ processes in at least a medium‑sized organization.Ability to obtain a Canadian Security clearance.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.BenefitsMedical, dental and vision plan (including a Health Care Spending
