The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-oriented professional:Permanent Full-TimeRegistered NurseOperating Room & Surgical Day CareResponsibilitiesAs a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Registered Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. As a Full Time Registered Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Skilled Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.RequirementsCurrent Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of OntarioCurrent BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation ProviderCompleted the Operating Room Techniques Course for Registered Nurses from an accredited institutionA minimum of two (2) years Operating Room experience in circulating and scrubbing considered an assetMust be able to be on stand-byExperience working in Emergency, Critical Care and OBS would be an assetGood Physical healthWilling to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidaysDemonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgmentMust possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated critical thinking,
leadership and mentoring skillsMust be able to work in a team-oriented environmentDemonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of BehaviourProven attendance recordAble to perform the essential duties of the jobDemonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and RespectImmunization records must be presented prior to hireBenefitsThis is a Union position.
