Montreal, QC (Hybrid) — Full timeJob summaryThe Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Avionics Specialist will participate in the design, integration, verification and validation of IMA architectures for regional and business aircraft. The specialist must ensure that proposed architectures meet their functional, performance and certification requirements.ResponsibilitiesPropose innovative and disruptive approaches related to IMA architecture activities.Design and verify IMA avionics systems in the laboratory on test benches and onboard aircraft.Specify platform requirements for IMA avionics systems.Configure IMA modules and produce configuration and interface management documentation.Support the client with analyses of existing and future IMA systems (support to the System Integrator and Function Suppliers under DO-297).In this role you will:Carry out definition work of aeronautical systems with respect to operational needs.Specify requirements applicable to the IMA platform.Verify that the system fully meets the operational requirements recorded in its specifications.Support development teams on our IMA systems by providing system-level IMA expertise.Participate in technical problem analysis and the search for solutions.Minimum requirementsBachelor's degree in aerospace engineering,
