Shape the future of privacy compliance as the Corporate Privacy Officer at Nova Scotia Power. In this full time role, you'll lead privacy initiatives and provide strategic legal advice focused on safeguarding information.This senior role within the Corporate Legal team involves developing and improving the enterprise-level privacy program comprehensively. Utilize your legal expertise to advise leaders on data protection and manage breach responses. Collaborate across departments to implement effective privacy solutions that meet business goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement privacy program strategiesConduct comprehensive privacy impact assessmentsGuide and execute response plans for breachesCollaborate and build relationships with various stakeholdersChampion privacy training and awareness initiativesRequirements:Law degree plus 5+ years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of privacy and information governanceActive membership with the law societyCertification in privacy (CIPP preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLead the way in privacy management and compliance at Nova Scotia Power.
