The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role at UHN is essential within the Allied Health department. This position requires providing evidence-based assessments, treatment, and counseling for adult patients experiencing communication challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments for voice, language,



and swallowing disorders • Develop personalized treatment plans for patient rehabilitation • Facilitate communication among patients and healthcare professionals • Educate families and staff on management approaches • Participate in inter-professional research and quality improvement

Requirements: • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology • Registration with CASLPO required • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in neurorehabilitation • Experience with adult neurogenic communication disorders • Familiarity with dysphagia preferred
