You will ensure the swimming pool and recreation facilities operate safely and efficiently. This includes a mix of cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair tasks, ensuring records are kept up to date and assisting others on the team.Key Responsibilities:Ensure secure and clean swimming pool environmentsMaintain and service pool water heating and filtration systemsComplete custodial and preventative operational tasksTrain seasonal and part-time staff as necessaryDocument equipment maintenance and operation detailsRequirements:Completion of Grade 11 or equivalentPool Operators I and II certification requiredValid WHMIS certification within one yearOccupational First Aid Level I as needed3 to 6 months related experience neededParticipate in creating a healthy, welcoming space at Saanich Commonwealth Place within the Building Service Worker II role.
