The Role:

The Fuel Truck Driver reports to the Team Lead or designate

Accountabilities:

- Driving,hauling,anddispensinggasoline,fueloil,lubricatingoil,orliquefiedpetroleum gas to clients
- AdheretoallSafetyProceduresandPracticespertainingtohaulinganddispensingfuel.
- Cleanandlubricateequipmentandrefillequipmenttanks.
- Overseeconditionofequipmentandconductpre/post-checksonequipment.
- CompletedailyJobHazardAssessments,FuelLogsandTruckLogsasrequired
- Readsgaugesormetersandrecordquantityloaded
- Plantravelschedulesandroutes
- Monitorvehicleperformanceandmechanicalfitness
- AdheretoCompanypoliciesandworkrequirements
- Monitorequipmentandindicatorstodetectevidenceofoperatingproblems
- Completeallmaintenancetaskstoensureequipment,housekeeping,andworkareasare kept to best standards and protected working conditions
- Assistteammembersinaprofessional,friendly,andcollaborativemanner
- Reportanyequipmentdamages,maintenancerequirements,anddelaystosupervisor
- Maintainsafetyandmaintenancerecordsincompliancewithprocedure.
- Operatorvehiclesandequipmentasrequiredtocompletevarioustasks
- Performanyadditionaldutiesasrequiredtoensuretopclientservicesareprovided

Requirements and Competencies:

- Class 3 with an air brake Driver’s License
- Class 1 Driver's License is an asset
- 3-5years’experienceofcommercialdriving,haulingfuel,orsimilar




- Knowledgeandexperiencewithfuelandlubeisastrongasset.
- CommonSafetyOrientation(CSO)certification
- H2SAlive,TDG,FirstAid,andWHMIScertifications
- Knowledgeoftransportationregulations;companyandlegislativerequirements
- Physicallyabletocompletethedutiesincludinglifting,bending,andcarrying
- Abilitytoaccessallclientsitesasrequired
- Abletoworkinallweatherandworkingsiteconditions.

Schedule:

- The shift for this position is 5days, 5 nights, followed by 5 days off rotation working 12-hourdays.Thesuccessfullocalcandidatewillhaveaccesstodailybussingto/fromthe working location.
