Position SummaryAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will join a fast-paced Healthcare Reprocessing team. You will interact with other engineering disciplines and cross‑functional team members during the development lifecycle phases from concept development through final release. In this role you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, collaborate with cross‑functional team, utilize problem solving techniques and engineering principles such as statics, dynamics, material science and thermodynamics to address design challenges. Design Verification Testing and hands‑on prototyping while developing new and cutting-edge solutions for our customers.What You’ll Do as a Senior Mechanical EngineerPerform routine engineering analyses and resolve issues using problem solving techniques and/or tests to support current products and develop new and innovative products.Design, develop, test, and execute mechanical and/or electromechanical solutions for components, assemblies to meet project or department goals from exploratory phase to production release.Manage design and execution of assigned engineering tasks to meet project timeline, participate and/or lead technical design discussions, support and mentor junior engineers and engineering technicians.Use Mechanical Engineering principles of statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat
