Job OverviewWe are looking for a Technician, Pit Dewatering to join our Mount Milligan Mine team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Dewatering and Tailings, the Technician, Pit Dewatering is responsible for the safe and proficient operation of one or more pieces of CAT mobile equipment in a mining environment and for maintaining and supporting pit dewatering systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain operational integrity of all dewatering systems.Support HDPE pipe fusing and splicing.Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators.Assist with pipeline relocation, pump setup, and refueling.Maintain clean and safe work environments.Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement efforts.Participate in training and mentoring initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned by the department.QualificationsGrade 12 Diploma or GED.4+ years mining experience in dewatering or pumping roles.Knowledge of HDPE fusing and installation (4" to 42" lines).Experience installing well pumps.Equipment operation experience (dozer, loader,



excavator).Heavy equipment training and experience is an asset.Valid Canadian Driver’s License.Working ConditionsCamp-based role working 12‑hour days on a 7 day on/7 day off rotation, with accommodation provided during rotation.Candidates must be able to maintain high levels of performance for extended shifts.Occasional exposure to hazardous environments with the requirement of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Safety‑sensitive environment with zero‑tolerance drug and alcohol policy.Bus transportation provided from regional locations.BenefitsAs a valued member of Centerra's Mount Milligan Mine team, you can look forward to a competitive compensation structure based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
