Adecco is currently hiring a full time Reliability & Safety Engineer for a 12-month full-time contract opportunity in Ajax, ON.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading aerospace organization specializing in the design and development of advanced aircraft landing gear systems. You will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the development, certification, reliability, safety, and performance of fully integrated aircraft systems.As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. and maintainability perspectiveSystems Development & CertificationParticipate in multidisciplinary engineering teams to define system-level reliability and safety requirementsSupport aircraft certification activities and compliance initiativesAssist in the development and validation of safety cases and certification documentationReview and assess technical documentation from suppliers and partnersTechnical CollaborationWork closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to support program objectivesObtain reliability and safety data from equipment suppliersParticipate in technical reviews and design assessmentsPrepare and deliver technical presentations and reports for customers and stakeholdersContinuous ImprovementSupport the development of innovative engineering solutions that improve system reliability and safetyContribute to risk assessments and technical trade studiesEnsure compliance with applicable aerospace regulations, standards, and industry best practicesQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering Physics, Engineering Science)6-10 years of experience in reliability engineering, safety engineering, aerospace systems engineering, or a related fieldExperience supporting complex aerospace, aviation, defense,
or transportation programsPrevious experience with aircraft systems certification activities is considered a strong assetStrong understanding of reliability, safety, and maintainability engineering principlesExperience performing Reliability Predictions, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Safety AssessmentsKnowledge of FAR 25.1309 and SAE ARP4754A / ARP4761 preferredFamiliarity with RTCA DO-178B/C standards considered an assetExperience with Model-Based Safety Analysis considered an assetUnderstanding of aerospace regulations, airworthiness requirements, and certification processesExperience using reliability and safety analysis tools such as CAFTA, RELEX, ITEM and equivalent R&S softwareExperience with DOORS requirements management software is considered an assetStrong computer and technical documentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teamsDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and technical excellenceMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAt Adecco our purpose is simple: to make the future work for everyone.
